A great activity for a rainy day in Schwangau is a day at the Königliche Kristalltherme (royal thermal baths). It offers several hot pools with different (high) salt levels (part inside and part outside – open even in winter !), saunas and a wellness area. And the best part is you have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle as it is only a 3 minute walk from Birkeneck luxury holiday apartment.
