If one thinks about German Carnival, one thinks of Cologne at best, but to our delight, Schwangau has a strong carnival tradition, too.
The active local carnival club organizes annual carnival parades early February and a fabulous carnival show displayed in the “Kurhaus” (Schwangau’s cultural centre) on 3 different dates in the month of January.
